Louise “Elaine” McGreevy, age 80, was a long time resident of Florissant. She passed away on September 6, 2019. Elaine was born November 17, 1938 in Casitas Springs, CA to Loyd and Mary Maxwell. She is survived by her brother, Wray (Lois) Maxwell; step-children, Kevin (Joy) McGreevy, Mary McGreevy and Brian McGreevy; children, Donna Walstrom, Dan (Mary) O’Neill, Dale (Judy) O’Neill and Diane (David) Butcher; niece, Lee Farmer and nephew, David Maxwell; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Brianna O’Neill, Lauren and Erica O’Neill and Dustin (Delilah) St. Andre, Don St. Andre and great-grandson, Zacrin St. Andre. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Milton “Mac” McGreevy, brother, Don Maxwell and parents, Loyd and Mary Maxwell. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She loved crafting, cooking, travel and animals of all sorts.

On September 14th, with a small group of family and friends present, she was laid to rest at the Florissant Pioneer Cemetery where she will remain forever on her mountain. Donations to the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS) will be greatly appreciated.
